Dr. Riggs is an Indiana native who attended Purdue University for her undergraduate and veterinary degrees. In 2013 she moved to the Twin Cities to complete a rotating small animal internship at the University of Minnesota, where she stayed to complete an internal medicine residency.
Outside of work she enjoys traveling, running and hiking. Her own pets include a goldendoodle named Rory and an orange tabby named Trooper.
