Rehabilitation

Dr. Lisa Chase grew up in south Florida. She attended University of Florida and Florida Atlantic University for undergraduate school. She then went on to earn her DVM at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She returned to Florida for a 1-year rotating internship through Veterinary Specialists of South Florida. Over her 10 years in general practice, she became increasingly interested in focusing on pain management. She wanted to be able to offer more than just pain medications. To this end she pursued training in veterinary medical acupuncture, completing certification in 2017. She then embarked on the road of canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, completing the program in 2021.

She and her family moved to beautiful Colorado in 2015. She lives with her daughter (Gwendolyn), husband (Gabriel), two guinea pigs (Peanut and Chaka) and cat (Kuro). She is a collector of hobbies both indoor (clay work, jewelry craft, sewing, sketching, ukulele, guitar, singing and reading) and outdoor (hiking, biking, running, and recently trying longboard). She finds great joy in learning new things and trying new activities.
