Internal Medicine

When your pet is experiencing symptoms of discomfort that cannot be seen externally and have been difficult for your family veterinarian to diagnose, he or she may refer you to a board-certified internist for further care. From more common conditions like irritable bowel syndrome and diabetes to IMHA and Cushing’s Disease, internists specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the body’s sensitive internal structures. Our internists use on-site ultrasound capabilities to get a clear, real-time view of your pet’s organs and systems at work, allowing them to make an accurate diagnosis and develop an effective treatment approach for an improved quality of life.
