Janet Lori, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology)
A native of Dallas, Texas, Dr. Lori earned her undergraduate Veterinary Science degree at Texas A & M University. She then graduated from A & M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Leaving Texas, she moved to Colorado State University, where she completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship, as well as a residency program in small animal oncology. Dr. Lori became board-certified in Internal Medicine (Oncology) by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2010, and also completed her Masters of Clinical Science.
In 2010, Dr. Lori and her family moved back to Dallas and joined the staff of the Animal Diagnostic Clinic, where she founded their oncology department. Dr. Lori enjoys all things oncology, with a particular interest in the new and exciting options available for treatment of mast cell tumors.
Married to Dr. David Lori, an equine veterinarian at Littleton Large Animal Clinic, they have a daughter, Emily. They share their home with a dog, two cats and three horses. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities, such as camping, fishing, and horseback riding.
