Originally from Newnan, Georgia, Dr. Leigh Gray completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Georgia in 2008. During her four years of veterinary school, she cultivated a love for dermatology—thanks to a special golden retriever. Following veterinary school, Dr. Gray moved cross-country to Denver for a one-year rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital where she continued developing her interest in dermatology, as well as her love for all things Colorado. Following her internship, she attended Ohio State University and completed three years of dermatology residency training with a thesis masters. Upon achieving specialty board-certification from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2013, Dr. Gray practiced at a busy dermatology practice in south Florida. Dr. Gray then joined Dr. Campbell at Animal Allergy and Dermatology of Colorado, which partially operates out of AESC. Her special interests include chronic ear disease, infectious skin disease and challenging allergic cases. She’s a member of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Gray spends her spare time exploring the wonders of Colorado with her two golden retrievers, Wyatt and Mason, and working on her house.
