During her undergraduate years, Dr. Jacquelyn Diamond volunteered with the Italian Greyhound Club of America Rescue Foundation. When she saw the number of dogs surrendered to rescue for easily preventable diseases, she realized that she wanted to become an advocate for animals and help educate their owners on the importance of preventative care. Dr. Diamond chose the dermatology specialty because of the chronic nature of the cases, which allows her to build relationships with the patient and client. Dr. Diamond enjoys all aspects of dermatology, but has a special interest in allergy, otitis, hair restoration therapy, and laser surgery.
Dr. Diamond earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics and Business from the Boston University in 2006. She then attended Ross University where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Diamond completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a private referral practice in North County San Diego, and then moved to Georgia to complete a 1 year dermatology internship and a 3 year dermatology residency. After completing her residency in 2019, Dr. Diamond accepted a full time position with AESC in Colorado.
