Receptionist

AESC has an opening for a part-time receptionist working weekends and holidays (16 hours per week).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • answering multi-line telephone
  • recognizing emergent conditions of patients upon presentation
  • greeting clients
  • computer data entry
  • processing payments
  • faxing, emailing, and filing of medical records

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • excel under pressure and in stressful situations
  • communicate effectively with clients in person and over the phone
  • communicate effectively with staff to maintain flow of patients

Previous veterinary experience required.

Minimum education requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay rate: Commensurate with experience

This position requires weekend shifts with rotating holidays.
