Emergency CVT

AESC is accepting applications for a full-time technician for our emergency department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • client relations
  • patient evaluation and triage
  • radiography
  • laboratory testing
  • calculation of medications and fluids
  • care for hospitalized patients
  • blood transfusions
  • anesthesia
  • monitoring
  • CPCR
  • bandaging and wound care
  • many other exciting duties!

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • excel under pressure and in stressful situations
  • communicate effectively with clients in person and over the phone
  • communicate effectively with staff to maintain flow of patients

Previous emergency veterinary experience preferred.

Minimum education requirements: Graduate of an accredited veterinary technician program, successful completion of the VTNE

Must also be a member in good standing with the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT).

Status: Full-time (32-40 hours per week), benefits eligible

Pay rate: Commensurate with experience

As AESC is a 24-hour practice, the ideal candidate would have availability for any and all shifts on a regular basis.
