Emergency CVT

AESC is accepting applications for a full-time technician for our emergency department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- client relations
- patient evaluation and triage
- radiography
- laboratory testing
- calculation of medications and fluids
- care for hospitalized patients
- blood transfusions
- anesthesia
- monitoring
- CPCR
- bandaging and wound care
- many other exciting duties!
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- excel under pressure and in stressful situations
- communicate effectively with clients in person and over the phone
- communicate effectively with staff to maintain flow of patients
Previous emergency veterinary experience preferred.
Minimum education requirements: Graduate of an accredited veterinary technician program, successful completion of the VTNE
Must also be a member in good standing with the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT).
Status: Full-time (32-40 hours per week), benefits eligible
Pay rate: Commensurate with experience
As AESC is a 24-hour practice, the ideal candidate would have availability for any and all shifts on a regular basis.
