Animal Emergency & Specialty Care

Adam Grochowsky, DVM, DACVECC

Dr. Adam Grochowsky was born and raised outside of Philadelphia.  It was there that he began his veterinary career, training as a technician over summers and holidays while in high school and college.  In 2006, Dr. Grochowsky completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Cornell University while simultaneously studying at the College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Grochowsky earned his veterinary degree in 2009 from Cornell and traveled to colorful Colorado for a one-year small animal internship.  Beginning his career as a doctor with a fateful month of overnight emergency duty, Dr. Grochowsky discovered a passion for being at the ready for any level of crisis.  He completed a residency at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, and was certified as a Diplomate of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.  Because Dr. Grochowsky firmly believes that the Rocky Mountains will always best the White/Green Mountains, he found his way back to Colorado.

Dr. Grochowsky’s professional interests include toxicology, trauma, and transfusion medicine.  When he is not managing the Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Grochowsky enjoys trail running, hiking, swimming and exploring Denver’s music scene.
